The Taylor 9-114 project was a multi-unit development that consisted of nine large townhouses with up to 240sqm of GFA each. The client’s intention with the site was to maximise the plot ratio and construct high-end townhouses for sale via auction and DA Approved pre-sales. ACT Homes provided a design & construct service. The service package followed a start to finish approach, which meant that our team carefully curated an initial design in alignment with the client’s objective whilst following the ACT planning regulations.
The townhouses featured high ceilings and skylights to enhance the open living spaces. The high-end architectural design consisted of Enseam metal cladding, Coreten metal hood and high skillion roofs to complement the streetscape. The project delivery consisted of the construction of the dwellings along with the services connections works, fire hydrant and testing and all external hard & soft landscaping to site. The construction phase of the project was delivered over the course of 11 months, which allowed the client / developer to provide an early handover & settlement to their purchasers.
