  • The EQ Bakehouse franchise commenced its initial expansion with a café fit out in the food court at the Fyshwick Outlet Centre. The project scope was heavily revolved around the design of the store to suit the brand marketing strategy. The client commenced the initial conceptual designs and engaged ACT homes to help further develop a design pack that could be utilised as the base design for all stores moving forward. The emphasis was placed on finalising a brand design and marketing features that would be unique to the EQ Bakehouse franchise and would form the principals of all base designs for further franchise stores. The final design and construction works included custom gold finished metal works, large joinery sales counter, custom timber and metal bench seating, commercial kitchen and upgrade of existing base build services to suit. The construction program was completed within 7 weeks from Building Approval to achieve the client objective to open trade prior to the Christmas rush.
