EQ Bakehouse – DFO

The EQ Bakehouse Fyshwick Outlet Centre project marked the initial expansion of the franchise, delivering a café fitout within a high-traffic food court environment. ACT Homes were engaged to further develop the client’s concept design into a coordinated design package that would establish the foundation for future franchise locations.

A key focus of the project was defining a strong and consistent brand identity, with design elements and marketing features carefully resolved to form a repeatable base design for subsequent stores. The final outcome incorporated custom gold-finished metalwork, a large feature joinery sales counter, bespoke timber and metal seating, and a fully integrated commercial kitchen, along with upgrades to base building services.

The project was delivered within a seven-week construction programme from Building Approval, enabling the client to commence trading ahead of the Christmas period and successfully launch the newest EQ Bakehouse store.
