Packaged Lots

The Packaged Lots project comprised four compact residential blocks in Taylor, ACT, with the largest lot measuring 250sqm. ACT Homes was engaged under a Design & Construct contract with an 11-month programme, delivering Building Approval within eight weeks of contract award through a compliant DA-exempt design.

A key focus of the project was maximising GFA and achieving a build-to-rent outcome, which was successfully delivered through strategic design management while navigating Private Open Space and setback constraints. Each dwelling was designed as a two-storey residence with six bedrooms and three bathrooms, optimising functionality within a compact footprint.

Construction incorporated slab-on-ground foundations, structural steel, and lightweight framing, with façades featuring brickwork, metal cladding, and feature hoods to enhance the streetscape. The project was delivered efficiently with minimal challenges, resulting in a high-quality outcome completed within the contractual timeframe.
